Katie Shirey

Katie Shirey is a licensed real estate agent with the Chris Troxell Team who brings a unique background in education and agriculture, along with a lifelong love for the outdoors, DIY projects, and spending time in the kitchen.

Before beginning her career in real estate, Katie spent four years as an agriculture and horticulture teacher. Her experience in education allowed her to work with people from all walks of life, build meaningful relationships, and help others learn and grow. Today, she brings those same skills into her real estate career, guiding clients through the buying and selling process with care, patience, and a passion for helping others. And as a former horticulture teacher, she'll never pass up the opportunity to point out what might be wrong with the plants in a client's new home!

What drew Katie to real estate was the opportunity to combine her love of people with her love of homes and property. She believes a home is more than just a house—it's where people build their lives, create lasting memories, and begin exciting new chapters.

Outside of real estate, Katie and her husband enjoy spending time at their farm. When she's not working, you'll likely find her enjoying the outdoors, tackling a DIY project, experimenting in the kitchen, or spending time with their dog.
